Four individuals, including three juveniles and a man in his 20s, have been apprehended by the Southern Division Taskforce in connection with an aggravated robbery in Wailoku that occurred on Sunday.

The police conducted a raid in the area on Monday morning, resulting in the arrest of the suspects, who were subsequently taken to the Samabula Police Station for questioning. This operation followed the dissemination of CCTV footage capturing an attempted robbery involving the group of young boys.

In the footage, a man is seen parking his van outside a residence in Wailoku when one of the juveniles approached him, restrained him, and pushed him onto the roadway. Two other boys quickly joined in the assault. However, despite the aggression directed towards him, the man was able to fend off his attackers and escape safely in his vehicle.

The swift police response highlights the ongoing efforts to ensure community safety and address youth crime, demonstrating resilience among victims and the importance of reporting such incidents.
