The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have welcomed Flying Fijians and former Racing 92 centre Inia Tabuavou to the team.
The Natabua High School alumnus has signed a two-year contract for the 2025 and 2026 seasons, following strong performances in France’s Top 14 competition.
His impressive play in the midfield on both attack and defense earned him a call-up to the Flying Fijians earlier this year.
He started at inside centre in matches against Georgia and the All Blacks.
“It feels good to be home, especially with the Drua family. I’m really looking forward to trying out the new environment, especially the culture of the team and the type of rugby they play,” Tabuavou commented.
Tabuavou will join the Drua after concluding his 2024 Flying Fijians Test commitments.
