Former national netball representative Vasiti Vugakoto is elated with the outstanding performance of the girls participating in the New World Suva Netball Association’s weekly games.

This year, her club boasts the highest number of participants, with a total of 17 clubs under the collective name Lomaiviti, including 220 members.

As the president of the Lomaiviti club, Vugakoto acknowledges the increasing competitiveness of the competition each year.

She highlights the introduction of divisions for Primary School and Secondary School teams, which provide a clear pathway for young players to progress through the ranks.

“I can see that the games are getting harder every year. We have now added divisions for Primary School and Secondary School teams, so players can see a clear path to progress. It’s important for us to treat every game like a final,” said Vugakoto.
