Former Fisheries Minister Kalaveti Ravu has entered a not guilty plea to charges related to corruption. He appeared in the Magistrates Court in Suva today, facing a single count of Abuse of Office. Alongside him, Regional Manager North Tekata Toisi is also charged with one count of Aiding and Abetting Abuse of Office. The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption has provided the defense with the second phase of disclosures. The case has been postponed until August 28 for further mention.
