Former Flying Fijian Nadolo-Kuridrani Named Development Coach for Fijian Drua Ahead of Super Rugby Pacific

Nemani Nadolo-Kuridrani has been appointed as the new Development Coach for the Fijian Drua, a significant move for the club as it prepares for the upcoming Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific seasons. The former Flying Fijian, a prominent figure in rugby with a rich playing history, is expected to make a substantial impact as he enhances the development squad and team management.

Nadolo-Kuridrani, originally from Namatakula in Nadroga, has had an illustrious career, representing the Flying Fijians in 30 Test matches and scoring 242 points. His rugby journey includes playing for top teams such as the Crusaders in Super Rugby Pacific and the Leicester Tigers in Premiership Rugby, alongside stints in various international competitions including the French Top 14 and Japan Rugby League One.

Renowned for his powerful playing style and impressive try-scoring abilities, he stands as the second-highest try scorer in the history of the Flying Fijians, matching Aisea Tuilevu with 21 tries, while ranking fourth in all-time points scored for the national team. His diverse experience as a player will be instrumental as he takes on this new role, fostering the next generation of rugby talent.

Transitioning from player to coach, Nadolo-Kuridrani has embraced this new chapter with enthusiasm. He has been involved in rugby commentary since 2024, covering Fijian Drua home matches.
