Former Fisheries Minister Denies Corruption Charges in Court Drama

Former Fisheries Minister Kalaveti Ravu has entered a not guilty plea to charges related to corruption. Ravu appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court this morning, facing one charge of Abuse of Office, while Regional Manager North Tekata Toisi is charged with Aiding and Abetting Abuse of Office. The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption provided the defense with the second phase of disclosures. The case has been adjourned until August 28 for further mention.
