Former Fiji Link CEO Shaenaz Voss Cleared of Security Breach Charges

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has dropped the charges against Shaenaz Voss, former CEO of Fiji Link, for failing to comply with the airline’s security program requirements. This was confirmed by her defense attorney, Gul Fatima. The case was brought before Resident Magistrate Samanunu Vaniqi at the Nausori Magistrates Court. Voss had previously been charged with the unlawful carriage of firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018, connected to allegations involving the bodyguards of former Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who were reportedly carrying firearms during the flight. The prosecution was represented by Assistant DPP Laisani Tabuakuro.
