Former Fiji Link CEO Cleared of Serious Charges: What Happened?

The Director of Public Prosecutions has dropped the charges against former Fiji Link CEO Shaenaz Voss regarding her non-compliance with the airline’s security program requirements. This was confirmed by her defense attorney, Gul Fatima, who spoke to FijiLive. The case was presented before Resident Magistrate Samanunu Vaniqi at the Nausori Magistrates Court. Voss had faced charges related to the unlawful transportation of firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018, involving bodyguards for the former Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, who were allegedly carrying firearms on the Fiji Link flight. Assistant DPP Laisani Tabuakuro represented the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
