The first-ever McDonald’s Inter-District Championship is about to begin, uniting 492 young footballers from various regions of Fiji for a significant competition.
The event will showcase teams from nine different districts across four age categories: U-9, U-11, U-13, and U-15.
Participating districts include Labasa, Dreketi, and Seaqaqa from the North; Rewa, Suva, and Navua from the South; as well as Ba, Lautoka, and Nadi from the West.
This exciting tournament is designed to foster young football talent across the country and will take place at the Nasinu Muslim Primary & Secondary School Grounds in Nakasi.
The championship is scheduled to run from Friday, September 6, to Sunday, September 8. Filimoni Vosarogo, the Minister for Lands & Mineral Resources, will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
