The Fiji National University (FNU) is celebrating the graduation of thousands of students today at the Vodafone Arena in Suva, marking a significant event for the institution and its graduates. The graduation ceremony spans three days, honoring students from various colleges and training centers across the nation.

Over the course of the event, different colleges will be recognized each day. The first day is dedicated to graduates from the College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism Studies, as well as the College of Humanities and Education. The second day will celebrate students from the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. Finally, the last day focuses on graduates from the College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, the College of Engineering and Technical, Vocational Education and Training, the Pacific Centre for Maritime Studies, and the National Training and Productivity Centre.

FNU’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba, expressed her pride in the graduates, stating, “This is a significant milestone for our students, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements. Our graduates are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to make meaningful contributions to Fiji and beyond. They will be the leaders, innovators, and change-makers of tomorrow.”

This celebration not only honors the graduates but also highlights the commitment of FNU to providing high-quality education and fostering excellence across various fields of study. Families, friends, and the broader FNU community will unite to recognize these young individuals’ academic accomplishments.

As we look toward the future, it is heartening to see a new generation of graduates ready to embrace the challenges ahead, equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a positive impact on society. This ceremony serves as a beacon of hope for the continued growth and development of Fiji and its people.
