The Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) is set to conduct its Annual Member Forum for the 2025 financial year next month across three key locations in the country. This initiative is aimed at empowering members with a comprehensive understanding of how their retirement savings are managed, with a particular focus on investments, risk management, and future planning.
The forums are scheduled to take place as follows: Suva will host the event on Tuesday, February 10, at 5 PM at the Suva Civic Centre. In Nadi, the forum is arranged for Thursday, February 12, also at 5 PM, to be held at the Fiji National University, Namaka Campus. Members in Labasa can participate on Wednesday, February 18, at 1 PM at the Labasa Civic Centre.
FNPF Chief Executive Viliame Vodonaivalu emphasizes that the forums are much more than just a presentation of statistics. They serve as a vital platform for transparency, allowing for open dialogue and promoting a shared sense of responsibility among members. The Chief Executive states that these sessions create an opportunity for the fund to present its strategy, respond candidly to queries, and engage directly with members.
Vodonaivalu has urged all members to attend, highlighting that this is a chance to ask questions, gain valuable insights, and make educated decisions regarding their financial future. Each forum will feature a question-and-answer session with FNPF leadership, enabling direct engagement and a better understanding of the fund’s direction and long-term sustainability.
This initiative not only fosters transparency but also reinforces the FNPF’s commitment to its members, ultimately leading to a more secure financial future for all participants.
