FMF Foods Limited has announced a partnership with the Nadi Festival Trust and Bula Events Group in preparation for the upcoming Nadi Bula Festival. The marketing manager, Maria Kumar, expressed their pride in supporting this vibrant cultural event, highlighting the importance of community engagement and cultural celebration in Fiji.
Kumar noted that the signing of the sponsorship agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative effort aimed at delivering an event full of cultural richness for both locals and visitors. She emphasized that this initiative is part of FMF’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community that has greatly supported the company over the years.
The festival, scheduled from July 19 to July 26, will focus on promoting unity and diversity within the Fijian community. Kumar remarked, “Partnering with the Nadi Festival Trust and Bula Events Group allows us to uplift our communities, celebrate our diversity, and promote unity through culture and shared experiences.” This aligns with FMF’s values of fostering a stronger and more connected Fiji.
Notably, previous support from FMF for cultural events, such as the Hibiscus Festival, reinforces their dedication to promoting local initiatives and enhancing community spirits. The Bula Festival aims to showcase local talents and engage the community in meaningful ways, thus making it a key event for the region.
This initiative comes at a time when cultural celebrations are crucial for community bonding and recovery post-pandemic, underlining the resilience and unity that festivals bring to society. The company’s involvement is not just a business move; it is a reaffirmation of their role as an integral part of Fiji’s cultural tapestry.
