FMF Foods Limited has proudly become a Gold Sponsor for the Leadership Cohort 2026 initiative, focused on enhancing the wellbeing of healthcare professionals at St Giles Psychiatric Hospital. This project, managed by the LF2024 Team under the leadership of Losalini Nalawa, has seen the creation of a recreational bure and upgrades to existing wellbeing areas, incorporating improved lighting, seating, and landscaping designed to foster a calm and safe environment for staff.
Despite facing challenges such as inclement weather, site difficulties, and delays in materials, Nalawa emphasized that the team remained committed to seeing the project through from conception to completion. More than 100 companies were approached in the quest for sponsorship and fundraising support to bring this vital initiative to fruition.
FMF Foods has expressed its dedication to contributing positively to the community by building a stronger, more resilient Fiji. The company underscored the significance of supporting healthcare workers, recognizing their crucial role in providing care to those in need.
This initiative not only invests in the mental health and resilience of healthcare staff but also offers a sanctuary for rest and reflection, highlighting the importance of wellbeing in their work. By showcasing a commitment to leadership in service, resilience, and community care, the project strengthens individuals, communities, and, ultimately, the nation. Such efforts exemplify hope and collaboration towards a healthier future for all.
