Flying Fijians Unveil Strong Squad for USA Showdown!

The Flying Fijians have been announced to compete against the USA in the first semifinal of the Pacific Nations Cup.

Coach Mick Byrne has introduced four changes to the matchday 23 squad, with three adjustments in the forwards and one in the backline.

In the forwards, Isoa Nasilasila steps in for Mesake Vocevoce, who is unavailable due to family obligations. Kitione Sawala takes the number seven position, while Elia Canakaivata moves to number eight, resulting in Albert Tuisue being placed on the bench.

In the backline, Inia Tabuavou has been given another starting opportunity in place of the suspended Adrea Cocagi.

The front row will be composed of Eroni Mawi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Samu Tawake, while Isoa Nasilasila and Temo Mayanavanua will serve as locks.

The loose forwards trio will be made up of Meli Derenalagi, Kitione Salawa, and Elia Canakaivata.

Frank Lomani and Caleb Muntz will take on the playmaking roles, with Inia Tabuavou and Iosefo Masi forming the midfield partnership.

The back three will feature Epeli Momo and Vuate Karawalevu on the wings, with Isaiah Armstrong Ravula as the fullback.

The bench includes the return of Apisalome Vota, who will add depth as an impact player in midfield.

The Flying Fijians are set to face the USA at 10:05 PM tomorrow.
