Flying Fijians Unveil Final Squad for Pacific Nations Showdown!

Fiji 7s representative and Silver Medalist Ponipate Loganimasi has been included in the final 23-member Flying Fijians squad set to face Japan in the Pacific Nations Cup final.

The team will be led by captain Tevita Ikanivere, who plays at hooker, supported by Eroni Mawi at loosehead prop and Samuela Tawake at tighthead. In the lock positions, Isoa Nasilasila and Temo Mayanavanua will enhance the team’s strength, while flankers Ratu Meli Derenalagi and Kitione Salawa bring a blend of speed and power.

In the backline, Frank Lomani and Caleb Muntz are set to direct play from halfback and flyhalf, respectively. Wingers Ilaisa Droasese and Vuate Karawalevu are expected to showcase their speed, while Inia Tabuavou and Iosefo Masi will form a strong center partnership.

Elia Canakaivata will take on the role of number eight in the forward pack. Isaiah Armstrong Ravula will start at fullback, focusing on generating attacking plays.

Loganimasi will be joined on the bench by Mesulame Dolokoto, Hereti Hetet, Meli Tuni, Mesake Vocevoce, Albert Tuisue, Peni Matawalu, and Apisalome Vota.
