Fiji Water Flying Fijians Coach Mick Byrne is dedicated to creating a strong and unified team as they gear up for the 2024 Pacific Nations Cup. With new players joining the roster, Byrne recognizes the challenge of integrating fresh talent with the experience of veteran athletes.
“It’s not like we have the same players each week or every year; this team is evolving with new members and seasoned players. Each new team requires a specific set of instructions to work through,” the coach stated.
Byrne expressed enthusiasm about the younger players stepping up while also valuing the stability provided by the more experienced team members. He also thanked the Fijian fans for their continued support and patience as the team develops.
The Flying Fijians are set to compete against Manu Samoa this Friday at 6 PM.
