Flying Fijians Star Hints at End of White Jersey Legacy

As the Northern Hemisphere tour approaches in November, Semi Radradra, a key player for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians, has expressed concerns that he and his teammates may not wear the white jersey again. Alongside senior players Waisea Nayacalevu and Levani Botia, Radradra spoke out about alleged mismanagement within the Fiji Rugby Union during a recent social media podcast, suggesting that their bold stance could mark their final appearances in the iconic jersey.

“We have now put our careers on the line to speak up for our brothers who wear the white jersey,” Radradra conveyed in Fijian. He noted that they expect “ripples” following their comments, indicating potential consequences at the management level.

He expressed a grave sentiment, stating, “Most possibly we have worn the white jersey for the last time and may never again. Some things we have said will be felt at the management level, but we are doing it for the betterment of Fiji Rugby.”

The Flying Fijians will face Scotland on November 3, Wales on November 11, and Ireland on November 24 during this year’s Northern Tour.
