FIJI Water Flying Fijians head coach Mick Byrne has made seven adjustments to the team for the upcoming Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup match against Tonga, scheduled for this Friday.
Noteworthy additions to the lineup include Adrea Cocagi and Mesake Vocevoce, who have earned their starting positions for this important game. After their impressive 42-16 win over Samoa two weeks ago in Suva, the Flying Fijians aim to carry that winning momentum forward.
Recent Fijian Drua recruit Vuate Karawalevu and Epeli Momo are expected to bring excitement to the wings, while Isaiah Ravula will serve as fullback. The front row will consist of Eroni Mawi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Samuela Tawake, with the second row strengthened by the pairing of Mesake Vocevoce and Temo Mayanavanua.
The energetic back row will include Meli Derenalagi, Elia Canakaivata, and Albert Tuisue. Managing the scrum-half duties will be Frank Lomani, who will work alongside fly-half Caleb Muntz.
Iosefo Masi will maintain his role at outside centre, providing essential stability and experience in the midfield.
