The Fiji Water Flying Fijians have confirmed their lineup for the imminent match against Spain in the Autumn Nations series. This game will mark the debut of Saimoni Uluinakauvadra, who previously played for the Fiji Warriors.

Head coach Mick Byrne praised Uluinakauvadra’s physicality and fitness, especially in the number seven position. Byrne expressed confidence in Uluinakauvadra’s abilities, noting, “Spain is a very physical team. Saimoni has been performing well as a number seven. He is strong over the ball and exceptionally fit.”

The starting lineup features Eroni Mawi, Sam Matavesi, and Luke Tagi in the front row, with Mesake Vocevoce and Ratu Leone Rotuisolia as locks. Saimoni Uluinakauvadra will join Vilive Miramira and Albert Tuisue in a formidable back row. The halfbacks will consist of Simi Kuruvoli and Caleb Muntz, with Ponipate Loganimasi and Jiuta Wainiqolo positioned on the wings. Captain Waisea Nayacalevu and Sireli Maqala will lead the midfield, while Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula occupies the fullback position.

The bench includes Mesulame Dolokoto, Haereiti Hetet, and Jone Koroiduadua for front row cover, with Temo Mayanavanua set to replace a lock and Elia Canakaivata covering the back row. Peni Matawalu, Vilimoni Botitu, and Inia Tabuavou will serve as backline replacements.
