Flying Fijians Revamp Team for Tongan Showdown!

Fiji Water Flying Fijians head coach Mick Byrne has revealed seven changes to the team for the upcoming Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup match against Tonga scheduled for this Friday.

Notable inclusions in the starting lineup are Adrea Cocagi and Mesake Vocevoce, who have secured their positions for this important game. Following their impressive 42-16 win over Samoa two weeks ago in Suva, the Flying Fijians are eager to continue their winning streak.

New Fijian Drua recruit Vuate Karawalevu and Epeli Momo will provide fresh energy on the wings, while Isaiah Ravula is set to take on the fullback role. The front row lineup will include Eroni Mawi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Samuela Tawake, while Mesake Vocevoce partners Temo Mayanavanua in the second row.

The back row will feature Meli Derenalagi, Elia Canakaivata, and Albert Tuisue. Frank Lomani will assume the scrum-half position, teaming up with fly-half Caleb Muntz. Iosefo Masi is expected to maintain his position at outside center, contributing stability and experience to the midfield.
