Flying Fijians Revamp Squad Ahead of Tonga Showdown!

FIJI Water Flying Fijians’ head coach Mick Byrne has made seven changes to the squad ahead of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup match against Tonga this Friday.

Notable additions include Adrea Cocagi and Mesake Vocevoce, both of whom have secured starting positions for this important clash. Following their recent 42-16 win over Samoa in Suva, the Flying Fijians aim to continue their strong performance.

New Fijian Drua recruit Vuate Karawalevu and Epeli Momo are expected to bring vitality to the wings, while Isaiah Ravula will take on the fullback role. The front row will consist of Eroni Mawi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Samuela Tawake. In the second row, Mesake Vocevoce will partner with Temo Mayanavanua.

The back row will be dynamic with Meli Derenalagi, Elia Canakaivata, and Albert Tuisue. Frank Lomani will manage the scrum-half duties, collaborating with fly-half Caleb Muntz. Iosefo Masi will continue at outside centre, adding experience to the midfield.
