Flying Fijians Revamp Roster Ahead of Crucial Tonga Clash!

Fiji Water Flying Fijians’ head coach Mick Byrne has announced seven changes to the team for the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup match against Tonga scheduled for this Friday.

Noteworthy additions include Adrea Cocagi and Mesake Vocevoce, who have secured their positions in this important game. Following their solid 42-16 win against Samoa two weeks ago in Suva, the Flying Fijians aim to carry forward their winning streak.

New Fijian Drua recruit Vuate Karawalevu and Epeli Momo will bring energy to the wings, while Isaiah Ravula will step in as the fullback. The front row will be composed of Eroni Mawi, Tevita Ikanivere, and Samuela Tawake. The second row will be strengthened by Mesake Vocevoce alongside Temo Mayanavanua.

In the back row, Meli Derenalagi, Elia Canakaivata, and Albert Tuisue are set to showcase their skills. Frank Lomani will take on the duties of scrum-half, partnering with fly-half Caleb Muntz. Iosefo Masi will retain his position at outside centre, providing experience and stability to the midfield.
