Flying Fijian halfback Frank Lomani remains cautious about facing Ireland in their upcoming match, acknowledging that despite Ireland’s recent average performances during the Autumn Tests, they are still a formidable team. Ireland recently suffered a loss to the All Blacks (23-13) and managed a narrow victory over Argentina (23-19). Lomani emphasized the importance of mindfulness regarding Ireland’s previous status as the world’s top-ranked team.

“We discussed this over the past two days; Ireland was the number one team just a few months ago, and while they may seem vulnerable now, we can capitalize on that,” Lomani stated. He noted that even though Ireland is currently not at their strongest, they remain a top-three side in the world, which should not be underestimated.

Lomani highlighted the responsibility on the Flying Fijians to maintain their recent form and build on their team dynamics. He stressed the importance of collaboration among players and coaches to achieve success. “If we continue to work together as a cohesive unit, we should persist with the same performance level we’ve displayed in our last two matches,” he added.

The Flying Fijians are set to face Ireland at Aviva Stadium at 3:10 AM this Sunday, and the match promises to be an exciting contest as both teams seek to assert their strengths.

In a positive light, the ongoing discussions within the Flying Fijians’ camp reflect a strong team spirit and determination, which could potentially lead to a memorable performance against a traditionally strong opponent.
