Flying Fijians Name New Captain and Fresh Faces for Pacific Nations Cup

Tevita Ikanivere has been appointed captain of the FIJI Water Flying Fijians for the upcoming 2024 Pacific Nations Cup. The head coach Mick Byrne announced an extended squad featuring six newcomers: Kavaia Tagivetaua, Adrea Cocagi, Vuate Karawalevu, Epeli Momo, Mesake Vocevoce, and Apisalome Vota. Additionally, the squad welcomes back Iosefo Masi and Selestino Ravutaumada, who recently competed as silver medalists at the Paris Olympics.

The complete extended squad includes: Eroni Mawi, Haereiti Hetet, Livai Natave, Jone Koroiduadua, Kavaia Tagivetaua, Tevita Ikanivere, Mesulame Dolokoto, Peni Ravai, Isoa Nasilasila, Mesake Vocevoce, Temo Mayanavanua, Ratu Leone Rotuisolia, Albert Tuisue, Meli Derenalagi, Kitione Salawa, Elia Canakaivata, Frank Lomani, Peni Matawalu, Moses Sorovi, Caleb Muntz, Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula, Inia Tabuavou, Iosefo Masi, Apisalome Vota, Epeli Momo, Adrea Cocagi, Selestino Ravutaumada, Vuate Karawalevu, and Ilaisa Droasese.
