Tevita Ikanivere, captain of the Fiji Water Flying Fijians, visited the U18 and U19 representatives of Queen Victoria School (QVS) who are currently training in Nasese ahead of the Fiji Secondary School Deans competition this weekend. This visit, characterized as a gesture from the older brothers, included fellow alumni Ratu Meli Derenalagi, Livai Natave, and Mesulame Dolokoto.
The former players offered encouragement to the young athletes and provided assurance of their support. The U18 team, the defending champions of the Deans competition, is set to face Nasinu Secondary School, while the U19 team will compete against Lami High School at the HFC Bank Stadium.
