The FIJI Water Flying Fijians will convene for camp this Saturday as they kick off their preparations for the Pacific Nations Cup. Head Coach Mick Byrne noted that, in accordance with World Rugby regulations, the team is only permitted to gather a week before their match unless they had started training earlier. “Players from overseas will arrive on Friday, and our camp officially starts on Saturday,” Byrne stated. He added that they will manage administrative tasks, conduct medical evaluations, and hold a strategy meeting later that day. The team’s first training session is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. The Flying Fijians are set to compete against Manu Samoa at the HFC Bank Stadium next Friday at 6 pm.
