The FIJI Water Flying Fijians are set to convene for a training camp starting this Saturday as they gear up for the Pacific Nations Cup. Head Coach Mick Byrne noted that due to World Rugby regulations, the team can only gather one week prior to their match unless earlier training sessions have been arranged.
“Players from overseas will arrive on Friday, and our camp officially begins on Saturday,” Byrne stated. He added that the team will manage administrative tasks, conduct medical assessments, and hold a strategy meeting later that day, with their first training session scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The Flying Fijians will compete against Manu Samoa at the HFC Bank Stadium next Friday at 6 pm.
