The FIJI Water Flying Fijians are set to begin their training camp this Saturday as they prepare for the upcoming Pacific Nations Cup. Head Coach Mick Byrne noted that, according to World Rugby regulations, the team is permitted to gather only a week prior to their match if they had not started training earlier.
“Players from overseas will arrive on Friday, and our camp officially starts on Saturday,” Byrne stated. He added that the initial activities will include administrative tasks, medical checks, and a strategy meeting later in the day, with their first training session scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The Flying Fijians are scheduled to take on Manu Samoa at the HFC Bank Stadium next Friday at 6 PM.
