The FIJI Water Flying Fijians will enter their training camp this Saturday as they gear up for the Pacific Nations Cup. Head Coach Mick Byrne noted that according to World Rugby regulations, the team is allowed to come together just one week before their match, which is why they did not start training earlier.
“Players from overseas will arrive on Friday, and our camp officially kicks off on Saturday,” Byrne stated. “We will take care of administrative tasks, conduct medical checks, and hold a strategy meeting later that day. Our first training session is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.”
The Flying Fijians are set to compete against Manu Samoa at the HFC Bank Stadium next Friday at 6 pm.
