The FIJI Water Flying Fijians are set to enter camp this Saturday as they gear up for the Pacific Nations Cup. Head Coach Mick Byrne explained that due to World Rugby regulations, the team is required to come together just a week before their match, as they did not begin training earlier.
“Players from overseas will be arriving on Friday, and our camp officially starts on Saturday,” Byrne stated. He added that the team will focus on administrative tasks, conduct medical checks, and hold a strategy meeting later in the day, with the first training session scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
The Flying Fijians are set to compete against Manu Samoa at the HFC Bank Stadium next Friday at 6 p.m.
