Flying Fijians’ Future in Doubt: Last Chance for the White Jersey?

As the Northern Hemisphere tour approaches in November, Semi Radradra, a standout player for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians, expressed concerns that they may not wear the white jersey again. Alongside senior teammates Waisea Nayacalevu and Levani Botia, Radradra recently addressed issues of alleged mismanagement at the Fiji Rugby Union during a social media podcast. He indicated that their decision to speak out may have resulted in them wearing the white jersey for the last time.

Radradra stated, “We have now put our careers on the line to speak up for our brothers who wear the white jersey.” He added, “We expect ripples after speaking out,” suggesting that their comments would have an impact at the management level.

He concluded, “Most possibly we have worn the white jersey for the last time and may never again. But we are doing it for the betterment of Fiji Rugby.”

The Flying Fijians are set to compete against Scotland on November 3, Wales on November 11, and Ireland on November 24 during this year’s Northern Tour.
