“Flying Fijians Face Uncertain Future Amid Jersey Controversy”

With the Northern Hemisphere tour approaching in November, Semi Radradra, a key player for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians, has indicated that they may not wear the white jersey again. Along with senior teammates Waisea Nayacalevu and Levani Botia, Radradra recently shared concerns about alleged mismanagement at the Fiji Rugby Union during a social media podcast. He expressed that their decision to speak out could mean they have donned the white jersey for the last time.

“We have now put our careers on the line to advocate for our teammates who wear the white jersey,” Radradra stated in Fijian. “We anticipate repercussions following our statements.” He added, “It is highly likely that we have worn the white jersey for the last time and may never do so again. The things we have articulated will have an impact at the management level, but we are doing this for the betterment of Fiji Rugby.”

The Flying Fijians are set to compete against Scotland on November 3, Wales on November 11, and Ireland on November 24 during this year’s Northern Tour.
