Flying Fijians Boost QVS Teams Ahead of Deans Competition

Captain Tevita Ikanivere of the Fiji Water Flying Fijians recently led a group of former students from Queen Victoria School to visit the school’s U18 and U19 teams, who are currently training in Nasese in preparation for the upcoming Fiji Secondary School Deans competition. This visit was characterized as a gesture of support from their older counterparts, with Ikanivere joined by Ratu Meli Derenalagi, Livai Natave, and Mesulame Dolokoto. The seasoned players offered encouragement to the young athletes and pledged ongoing support from the alumni. The U18 defending champions, Queen Victoria School, are set to face Nasinu Secondary School, while the U19 team will compete against Lami High School at HFC Bank Stadium this weekend.
