Tevita Ikanivere, captain of the Fiji Water Flying Fijians, led a group of alumni from Queen Victoria School to visit the U18 and U19 teams who are currently training in Nasese in preparation for this weekend’s Fiji Secondary School Deans competition.
The visit, described as one from older brothers, included former players Ratu Meli Derenalagi, Livai Natave, and Mesulame Dolokoto. They offered encouragement and assured the young athletes of support from the alumni community.
The U18 defending champions from QVS are set to face Nasinu Secondary School, while the U19 team will compete against Lami High School at HFC Bank Stadium.
