Several roads in the Northern Division are closed due to flooding, prompting authorities to advise motorists to exercise extreme caution while traveling.

Affected roads include Boubale Crossing on Qawa Road, the Konasami Low Level Crossing on Dreketilailai Road, and Zailav Low Level Crossing on Zailav Road in Seaqaqa. These routes have become impassable due to rising water levels and potential washouts.

However, some roads remain open for traffic. The Narailagi Low Level Crossing on Narailagi Road in Seaqaqa is accessible exclusively to 4×4 vehicles, along with Nakorotari Crossing and Wailevu Tiri Road in Labasa, which also permit only 4×4 access.

Motorists are urged to remain vigilant as conditions can change rapidly, and debris and washouts may still pose risks on all routes.

This situation serves as a reminder of the unpredictable nature of weather and the importance of safety while traveling. Those who need to navigate these roads should stay informed about the latest updates and remain prepared for unexpected changes.
