NAIDU’S Phone Repair, a new establishment in Ba Town, incurred approximately $1,000 in damages due to significant flooding earlier this week. The flood affected crucial equipment, including a phone drill and heater, which are essential for their repair operations.

Owners Romal Preety and Niteshwar Naidu, who opened their shop in October, expressed their dedication to rescuing their equipment. “We started moving things up on Tuesday when the rain got heavy,” Ms. Preety explained. They worked diligently, returning to the shop at midnight on Thursday to salvage what they could, but unfortunately, some damage was unavoidable.

On Saturday, the couple joined fellow business owners in Ba Town to clean up the aftermath of the flood. Business streets and storefronts were left muddy, compelling many to work tirelessly to recover from this setback.

This incident marks the couple’s first encounter with flood damage since launching their business, which has proven to be a rocky start. However, they maintain a hopeful outlook on the future, eager to rebuild and continue serving their community.

In light of the challenges faced by NAIDU’S Phone Repair, the resilience of the business owners in Ba Town demonstrates a strong community spirit that often emerges in times of crisis. Their determination to restore their shops is a testament to their commitment not only to their businesses but also to the community they serve.

Overall, while the flood caused considerable damage, the dedication to recovery and rebuilding provides a positive and hopeful perspective for the future of NAIDU’S Phone Repair and its local neighbors.
