A suspect has been charged with one count each of rape and sexual assault related to an incident involving a Virgin Australia flight crew. Acting Police Commissioner Juki Fong Chew confirmed that the investigation into the alleged theft is still ongoing, while the inquiries into the sexual assault and rape allegations have been completed.
The suspect is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Nadi Magistrate’s Court on Monday. Meanwhile, the crew members affected by this unfortunate event have returned home.
