FLAMETREE Development-Fiji LTD is making a positive impact in grassroots rugby by donating nearly $13,000 worth of rugby jerseys to three clubs. The recipients of this generous gesture are FlameTree-sponsored teams: Colo-i-Suva, Waimanu, and Viria rugby clubs.
Alipate Navuso, the tournament director for Waimanu Sevens, expressed profound gratitude towards FlameTree for their ongoing commitment, stating, “Your dedication to our team, community, district, and province is truly inspiring.” This partnership has been beneficial over several years, particularly for Colo-i-Suva and Waimanu, with Viria now receiving support as well.
Navuso highlighted the enormous significance of FlameTree’s backing, emphasizing that it plays a crucial role in shaping the development pathways for the youth involved in rugby. “Your investment in our youth and rugby program is helping shape the next generation of leaders and athletes,” he remarked.
He also conveyed appreciation for the new sets of jerseys which will boost the teams’ presence in upcoming competitions, specifically in the 7s tournaments and the 15’s Rugby campaign alongside the Naitasiri Rugby Union club games. “Your support is a huge boost to our morale and performance,” Navuso noted, adding that the backing of sponsors like FlameTree has been instrumental in enhancing their performance over the years.
This ongoing support reflects a commitment to fostering athletic talent and community spirit, paving the way for future successes in rugby.
