The Heineken Wan Fire Music Festival is gearing up to light up Buckhurst Park in Suva on September 27, showcasing a stellar lineup of both international and local artists. Headlining is the award-winning Stan Walker, making his highly anticipated debut performance in Fiji. He will share the stage with popular regional talents such as Jahboy, Liz Vamarasi, InsideOut, Kali Tui, Wilz, The Gang, Pakx, DJ Vibez, Sweet Sensation, and Spectrum.
Festival founder and Spinning Village Director, Tikiko Korocowiri, expressed excitement about the event, describing it as a significant milestone in Fiji’s live music scene. Over the past three years, efforts have been focused on nurturing the live music industry through various events, including VT1s Live and Paradise Roots. “The Heineken WANFIRE is the pinnacle of our festival lineup, and we are confident that it will draw numerous attendees,” he said.
The festival is a collaboration between Spinning Village and Punjas Fiji, the exclusive distributor of Heineken, and aims to foster unity, culture, and positive vibes. Liz Vamarasi, a local artist participating in the festival, shared her enthusiasm for performing alongside Stan Walker, stating, “It’s a dream come true to share the stage with someone I have admired since childhood.”
Tickets are currently available for purchase through TicketMax, with options for General Admission, VIP, and VVIP access.
This festival comes on the heels of other successful musical events in Fiji, including the Bounty Stir It Up Music Festival and the Homecoming concert featuring George “Fiji” Veikoso, which attracted over 4,000 attendees. Such events not only celebrate local culture but also bolster Fiji’s economy through increased tourism and community engagement. The Heineken Wan Fire Music Festival is set to continue this trend, promising an unforgettable experience that uplifts the artistic spirit in Fiji.
