Lemeki Senikau, the captain of the Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-17 rugby team, is focused on enhancing his kicking and positional skills ahead of the Vodafone Deans Trophy final this Saturday. Following their semi-final victory of 38-11 against Ratu Navula College, the team is set to compete against Marist Brothers High School in the championship match.
Senikau expressed the importance of faith in their performance, stating, “We rely on God’s strength and guidance on the field.” He emphasized the need for calmness under pressure as they prepare to face Marist Brothers High School.
The captain credited the team’s unity as a key factor in their successful performances. “This win is dedicated to our parents, friends, and alumni. We encountered numerous challenges during our 13-week training program, but the players showed great perseverance.”
