Lemeki Senikau, the captain of the Ratu Kadavulevu School Under-17 rugby team, is focused on enhancing his kicking and positional skills ahead of the Vodafone Deans Trophy final this Saturday. In an interview with SUNsports following their 38-11 victory against Ratu Navula College in the semi-finals, Senikau expressed his anticipation for the upcoming match against Marist Brothers High School.
“We rely on God’s strength and guidance in our performance on the field,” he shared. Senikau emphasized the importance of remaining calm under pressure as they prepare to face the Marist Brothers team.
He credited the team’s success to their strong unity, which he believes contributes significantly to their on-field performance. “This win is dedicated to our parents, friends, and alumni. We encountered many challenges during our 13-week training program, but the players showed remarkable perseverance,” he noted.
