Lolohea Naitasi represented Team Fiji at the Grande Palais in Paris, making her Olympic debut against world number five, Julyana Alsadeq from Jordan. Although the 17-year-old Taekwondo competitor did not win, she was greatly encouraged by the support from her team and fellow Oceania athletes. Naitasi reflected on her performance as the best of her career, emphasizing that she followed her coach Master Ra’s advice to savor every moment of her first Olympic experience. As the first Taekwondo athlete from Fiji to qualify for the Olympics, Naitasi is now focused on her future goals, with eyes set on the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
