Fiji’s Young Taekwondo Star Shines at Paris Olympics!

Lolohea Naitasi, representing Team Fiji, is the youngest competitor in Taekwondo at the 2024 Paris Olympics. At just 17 years old, she expressed her gratitude for the support from her teammates and fellow Oceania athletes during her Olympic debut at the Grande Palais in Paris. Naitasi reflected on her performance, stating it was the best she had fought, and credited her coach, Master Ra, for encouraging her to enjoy the experience.

In her match, Naitasi faced off against Julyana Alsadeq from Jordan, who is currently ranked fifth in the world. Making history as one of the first athletes from Fiji to qualify for Taekwondo in the Olympics, Naitasi is now focused on competing in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
