The Fiji Under-19 netball team recently wrapped up a three-match series against Aotearoa Māori Netball, where the visiting team emerged victorious in all encounters.
Despite facing defeat, Fiji’s young netball players gained essential experience and exposure as part of their development. In the opening match, Aotearoa Māori displayed dominance, winning with a score of 74-29.
Fiji showed signs of progress in the second match but ultimately lost 55-44 in a thrilling game. The series concluded with Aotearoa Māori securing a 70-30 win in the final match held at FNU Gymnasium.
Although the outcomes were not favorable for Fiji, the competition offered valuable learning experiences for the Under-19 team as they work towards future growth and improvement.
