The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas are heading to Colombia for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after completing a week of training and friendly matches in Costa Rica. The final squad of 21 players for the prestigious tournament has been confirmed.

Among the team, three players are based overseas: Preeya Singh, Aliana Vakaloloma, and Talei Moodie.

Fiji’s matches in the tournament will kick off this Sunday against Brazil at 11 am. They will then compete against Canada on Wednesday, September 4, at 1 pm, followed by their final group match against France on September 7, also at 1 pm.

The confirmed 21-member squad includes: Meresaini Waqali, Ema Mereaia, Adi Bakaniceva, Seruwaia Laulaba, Caroline Qalivere, Talei Moodie, Kasanita Tabua, Preeya Singh, Narieta Leba, Elesi Tabunase, Sereana Naweni, Pijila Kilawaca, Sonia Alfred, Adi Naiveli, Asela Cokanasiga, Evivi Buka, Asenaca Naio, Katarina Nailele, Angeline Rekha, Aliana Vakaloloma, and Emily Esposito.
