The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas are heading to Colombia for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup after completing a week of training and friendly matches in Costa Rica. The squad, which consists of 21 players, has been finalized for the international competition. Among the team are three players based overseas: Preeya Singh, Aliana Vakaloloma, and Talei Moodie. Fiji’s first match will be against Brazil this Sunday at 11 am, followed by a game against Canada on September 4 at 1 pm, and concluding their group matches against France on September 7 at 1 pm. The complete 21-member squad includes Meresaini Waqali, Ema Mereaia, Adi Bakaniceva, Seruwaia Laulaba, Caroline Qalivere, Talei Moodie, Kasanita Tabua, Preeya Singh, Narieta Leba, Elesi Tabunase, Sereana Naweni, Pijila Kilawaca, Sonia Alfred, Adi Naiveli, Asela Cokanasiga, Evivi Buka, Asenaca Naio, Katarina Nailele, Angeline Rekha, Aliana Vakaloloma, and Emily Esposito.
