The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas have successfully arrived in San Francisco, where they will hold a training camp in preparation for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup at the end of the month.
Following their camp, the Fiji U20 Women’s National team will travel to Costa Rica to engage in friendly matches against Morocco and the host nation before heading to Colombia for the World Cup.
The team participated in a banquet hosted by the America Fiji Sports Commission in Oakland to celebrate their journey.
Coached by Angeline Chua, the Young Kulas will compete in Pool B at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, facing tough opponents including France, Canada, and Brazil.
This tournament marks an important milestone for Fiji, showcasing the progress and growth of women’s football in the nation. It is expected to inspire future athletes and unify support for the national team on the international stage.
