The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas have completed their warm-up matches and are now gearing up for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, where they will compete against powerhouse teams Brazil, France, and Canada.
Coach Angeline Chua emphasized the need for improved defensive strategies and the importance of seizing goal-scoring opportunities in their preparation for this prestigious tournament.
“We will concentrate on our defensive tactics given the strength of the teams we will encounter,” Chua remarked. “Simultaneously, we’ll focus on making the most of any scoring opportunities we get. It’s going to be a challenging tournament, but we’re prepared to give our best effort.”
