The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas have completed their warm-up matches and are now preparing for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, where they will compete against powerhouse teams Brazil, France, and Canada. Coach Angeline Chua emphasized the need for the team to strengthen their defense and take advantage of goal-scoring opportunities as they gear up for this prestigious tournament.
Chua stated, “We’ll be focusing on our defensive strategies, particularly given the quality of the teams we’ll be up against. At the same time, we’ll work on making the most of any scoring chances. It’s going to be a demanding tournament, but we’re ready to give it our all.”
The team is set to depart for Colombia tomorrow, carrying the aspirations of their nation as they approach the global competition.
