The Digicel Fiji Young Kulas faced a tough challenge in their second match at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, losing 0-9 to a strong Canadian team.

Despite their determined effort, similar to their previous game against Brazil, they were outmatched by Canada’s skill. Canada established dominance early, finishing the first half with a 7-0 lead.

Fifteen-year-old Fijian goalkeeper Aliana Vakaloloma emerged as a standout, making several impressive saves despite the overwhelming scoreline. Though Fiji’s defense showed resilience, they struggled to cope with the relentless attacks from the Canadian side.

The Young Kulas are now looking ahead to their final group stage match against France.
